Product details
The USPE covered downdraft dissection table is a configuration-based workstation for anatomy, dissection and teaching-room planning. Its defining requirements are the working surface, the cover arrangement and the selected ventilation interface; those requirements must be reviewed together rather than selected from the product photograph alone.
This model remains quote only. A category description does not establish the supplied exhaust connection, capture performance, airflow, filtration, electrical service or installed dimensions, and no automatic compatibility with another manufacturer's ventilation system is represented.
Start with the procedure and the room
For a teaching laboratory, define the intended specimen, the number of people working around the table, access to the cover and the way specimens will be transferred. For pathology or research use, describe the actual task and the room's existing services so the equipment scope can be reviewed for that application.
A covered table and a ventilated workstation are not interchangeable descriptions. The cover changes access and storage arrangements; ventilation requires a documented interface and a facility-specific design review. Neither feature by itself establishes chemical exposure control, containment or a regulatory certification.
What the selected specification must resolve
| Planning item | Required model-specific confirmation |
|---|---|
| Work surface | Usable length and width, working height, drainage arrangement and intended load. |
| Cover | Opening direction, operating clearance, access and the supplied cover mechanism. |
| Ventilation | Capture arrangement, connection location and dimensions, required airflow and the responsibility for any fan, filtration or building ductwork. |
| Services | Confirmed water, drainage and electrical requirements for the accepted configuration. |
| Installation | Delivery route, installed clearances, supporting services and the applicable drawing revision. |
Compare the right equipment families
Review the dissection table range for the required working arrangement. Compare immersion tables when the procedure requires a tank and a specimen platform rather than assuming a covered work surface supplies immersion storage.
Coordinate separate sinks and workstations, grossing stations and storage and transfer equipment as their own selections. Appearance, a shared brand or a similar nominal width does not establish connection compatibility or included accessories.
Does this replace room ventilation?
No room-ventilation replacement claim is made. The responsible mechanical and safety teams should review the selected equipment's documented requirements alongside the facility's intended chemicals, work practices and exposure-assessment program before the installation is accepted.
If you are replacing a table connected to existing exhaust, supply the current drawing and connection information with the request. The quote review should resolve the actual interface instead of treating the new table as an assumed direct-fit replacement.
USPE quote, documentation and purchase-order review
Select the model and requested quantity, then request an itemized USPE equipment quote with the institution, room plan, delivery ZIP and required documents. Ask for the current model-specific specification sheet and the applicable project drawing before relying on dimensions or utility assumptions.
Use RFQ / purchase-order review for your procurement file. Optional items, custom work, freight and production timing require written scope confirmation; submitting a request is not automatic order acceptance.

Configuration drawing and sign-off
Match the model and selected options to your written quote. These are unsigned review documents, not operating manuals, approved shop drawings or safety certifications.
No approval or signature has been supplied. Final dimensions, purchased parts, engineering, supply and applicable legal/IP review remain separate release requirements.
Anatomy lab and autopsy-room handling
Plan the table, lift and tray as one transfer workflow
A dissection table is one part of the handling route. Match the tray support, transfer direction, retaining stops and working height before pairing it with a lift or rack. A roller-equipped table can support a different transfer method from a fixed recessed top or an immersion tray; rolling transfer is not a standard feature on every model.
Low Profile Powered Crematory Lift
Review the low starting deck, raised working height and approved platform for a lower transfer point. This is a powder-coated lift, not a stainless-frame model.
