Product details

Covered hydraulic transport for the hospital-to-morgue route

The USPE-CC-HYD hydraulic covered cadaver carrier combines a stainless steel platform, foot-operated hydraulic positioning and a privacy cover for discreet transport. Its fifth-wheel directional arrangement assists steering through the planned route. The cover, platform and hydraulic base perform different functions; specify the complete configuration rather than selecting by appearance alone.

Transfer configurationFixed platform unless a different arrangement is expressly quoted. Roller-transfer and removable-tray configurations require a separate compatibility review.

PurchasingQuote only. The written equipment quote establishes the configuration, options, freight and applicable warranty.

Choose the transfer method before the accessories

A fixed platform stays attached to the carrier. It is not a removable tray and must not be pushed onto another device. Where the project calls for a detachable work surface, compare the USPE hydraulic autopsy trolley with removable top. Include the receiving equipment, tray dimensions, working height and required restraints in the same RFQ.

For a coordinated room, review autopsy and morgue examination tables, autopsy sink stations and immersion dissection tables. A separate mortuary lift or roller storage rack must be checked against the actual transfer surface, not just a nominal tray width.

Receiving, care and operating documentation

The model-specific guide covers delivery inspection, unloaded control checks, route planning, covered transport, fixed-platform versus removable-tray handling, cleaning and stop-use conditions. Use it with the accepted order, approved drawing, component instructions and the facility’s handling procedures.

Cleaning and disinfection are separate steps. Follow the facility-approved chemical’s label and the cover’s care instructions; do not assume every cover can be machine washed. Keep abrasive cleaners, steel wool and sanding paper away from stainless surfaces, and do not pressure-wash hydraulic controls or wheel mechanisms.

Send a facility-specific carrier RFQ

Add the carrier to your RFQ and identify the quantity, facility location, door and elevator clearances, required working height and intended transfer arrangement. For an existing installation, include the current equipment’s model/serial number, photographs and tray dimensions. A legacy model reference does not establish an interchangeable replacement.
