What is a cremains processor?

A cremains processor, also called a cremulator, reduces the bone fragments left after cremation to a fine, uniform texture so the remains fit an urn. Fragments are cooled and cleared of metal with a magnet first, then processed in a sealed drum with rotating blades.

Cremains processors and enclosed processing stations built for daily crematory use: sealed stainless drums, swivel or straight blades, filtered dust capture and cabinet storage. They work as replacements for most American Crematory, Matthews, IEE and B&L processors in the same room footprint.

Shipping and ordering

Most items ship by ground from stock at a flat per-unit rate shown at checkout; lift tables, chargers and processing stations ship by freight. Custom ash pans, ID discs and exhaust stacks are quoted. Call 1-888-792-9315 or email po@mymortuarycooler.com for purchase orders.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a processor and a processing station?

A processor is the motor and drum unit on its own. A processing station builds the processor into an enclosed cabinet with a work tray, filtered dust capture and storage, so remains are cooled, magnetized, processed and transferred in one place.

Will a new processor fit my existing processing station?

Most single-drum processors share a similar footprint. Send your current make and model and we confirm fit, voltage and drum size before you order.

What voltage do cremains processors use?

Standard units run on 115V household power. Check the spec table on each product page for amperage and plug type.
