Choosing the right TITAN cot

Start with load rating

The 500E is a standard multi-level cot for everyday removals. The PRO S and 500T step up in capacity, and the PRO XL and 1200XL are bariatric cots with wider decks and higher published load ratings. Choose the rating that covers the heaviest removals your team handles, not the average.

Check the loading height

Loading height is the deck height the cot can roll into. Measure from the ground to the floor of your removal vehicle and compare it with the figure in the table. The 500T is built for taller vehicles such as full-size SUVs and vans.

Consider a powered cot

Powered cots raise and lower the deck with a battery-driven lift, which reduces the lifting your staff does on every call. They cost more up front and need battery charging, so they suit high-volume removal teams and one-person removals.

Match textiles to the cot width

Standard TITAN pouches and covers fit standard-width cots. Use oversized sizes on the PRO XL and 1200XL bariatric cots so the zipper closes without strain. See all cot pouches and cot covers.

TITAN mortuary cot questions

Which TITAN cot should a funeral home start with?

Most funeral homes start with a standard multi-level cot such as the 500E, then add a bariatric cot like the PRO XL or 1200XL for oversized removals.

Where are the cot specifications?

Each cot listing shows its published load rating, length, width, deck heights and loading height. The comparison table on this page pulls those same figures.

Do TITAN pouches fit other cots?

TITAN pouches and covers are cut for standard-width and oversized first-call cots. Check the cot width on the textile listing before ordering for a cot from another line.

Do you accept purchase orders?

Yes. Funeral homes, hospitals, counties and universities can order on a purchase order. A W-9, certificate of insurance and net terms are available on request. See our purchase order policy or call 1-888-792-9315.

Is financing available?

Yes. Shop Pay Installments is offered at checkout, and 0% APR offers are available through Shop Pay with approved credit. Equipment loans and leases are also available through our financing page.

How is shipping charged?

Shipping is calculated at checkout from the item and the delivery address. Larger equipment ships by freight. For deliveries outside the lower 48 states, contact us for a freight quote.

Not sure which cot fits your vehicle?
