Per run, one operator moves four cots, four cremation containers, two air trays, or two caskets. The system fits standard and oversized cots side-by-side (50.5" upper deck, 51.8" lower deck).
Requirements
- Minimum 140" wheelbase — choose a Transit configuration that meets it.
- Partition bulkhead and bolted-down installation required.
- Rear A/C or dual rear-wheel packages may restrict installation.
Frequently asked questions
Which Transit roof and length do I need?
You need a configuration that meets the 140" minimum wheelbase with clearance for your load types. Medium or high roof improves upper-deck clearance for caskets.
Does the DD2000-XLC fit the older Ford E-Series?
Yes — the E-Series cargo van (1992–2015) is on the DD2000-XLC fit list.
