Why Mountain West Facilities Choose 4 Body Capacity

County contracts across large Mountain West territories put serious holding demands on a single facility — and when the nearest alternate morgue is three hours away, four body capacity is insurance, not luxury. AMC units are self-contained and built with standard commercial refrigeration components any local HVAC-R tech can service, which matters when service techs can be hours out. The Model 4BX upright runs on standard 110V, needs only a 1–1.5″ air gap around the cabinet and 16″ of clearance above the compressor, and handles desert heat. Every unit carries a 15-year panel warranty and a 5-year compressor warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does freight take to Mountain West states like Colorado and Arizona?

Most 4 body coolers ship flat-rate commercial freight from our Johnson City, TN factory, with typical transit of 3–6 business days to Mountain West addresses. Liftgate service and inside placement are quoted up front, so there are no surprises on delivery day.

Who services the cooler if the nearest tech is hours away?

AMC units are self-contained and built with standard commercial refrigeration components, so any local HVAC-R tech can service them — no proprietary parts or factory-only service calls. Upright cabinets like the Model 4BX run on standard 110V with a 1–1.5 inch air gap and 16 inches of clearance above the compressor.

Do you offer financing to funeral homes in MT, ID, WY, CO, UT, NV, AZ and NM?

Yes. Financing and purchase orders are available in all eight Mountain West states we serve. See our financing page for terms and how to apply.

At four body capacity, should we choose a cabinet or a walk-in?

The Model 4BX is our largest upright cabinet. If your case load keeps climbing, the 8x10 walk-in holds up to 9 bodies for modestly more than the cabinet, and the 6 body dual-door walk-in adds two-sided access for high-volume facilities.
