Why Southeast Facilities Choose 4 Body Capacity
Hurricane-season surge planning is the single biggest reason Southeast firms buy four body capacity — when a storm delays services across a county, holding fills in days, and year-round heat and humidity keep every condenser working hard. The Model 4BX upright runs on standard 110V service like our smaller uprights and roll-ins, needing only a 1–1.5″ air gap around the cabinet and 16″ of clearance above the compressor. With AMC's factory in this region, freight is the shortest in the country. Every unit carries a 15-year panel warranty and a 5-year compressor warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does freight take to Southeast states like Georgia and Florida?
Most 4 body coolers ship flat-rate commercial freight from our Johnson City, TN factory, with typical transit of 1–3 business days to Southeast addresses — the shortest freight lanes we run, since the factory sits in this region. Liftgate service and inside placement are quoted up front.
What electrical service and clearance does a 4 body mortuary cooler need?
Upright and roll-in cabinets like the Model 4BX run on standard 110V service — no special wiring in most facilities. Plan a 1–1.5 inch air gap around the cabinet and 16 inches of clearance above the compressor for proper airflow.
Do you offer financing to funeral homes in NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, MS, TN and KY?
Yes. Financing and purchase orders are available in all eight Southeast states we serve. See our financing page for terms and how to apply.
At four body capacity, should we choose a cabinet or a walk-in?
The Model 4BX is our largest upright cabinet. If your case load keeps climbing, the 8x10 walk-in holds up to 9 bodies for modestly more than the cabinet, and the 6 body dual-door walk-in adds two-sided access for high-volume facilities.
