Every unit is configured to your facility: size, layout, refrigeration, electrical, rack package, lighting, and flooring are all specified to your project. The size shown is a custom 10×10 triple-door build; yours is sized and laid out to your space and caseload.

It comes standard with remote 2-piece (split) refrigeration — the condenser is located away from the storage bay to move heat and compressor noise out of the prep room — plus two interior light fixtures standard, triple 4-tier roller racks (12 positions), and 31.5" oversized door clearances on 208-230V power. Professional installation is required.

Industrial-Scale Upright — Without a Walk-In Build-Out

At twelve bodies, the gap between a multi-door upright and a walk-in narrows — but they remain different tools. The AMC-12B-3D delivers 12-body capacity in a vertical upright footprint with three independent sealed bays that preserve thermal isolation per access event — without the construction, floor penetrations, and room-modification scope of a walk-in project. It stands against a wall, accesses all 12 positions through three front doors, and never requires staff to enter the unit to retrieve a body — ideal where floor space is constrained and a dedicated walk-in room isn't available.

Why Three Independent Bays at 12-Body Scale

A single-door 12-body unit would expose all 12 positions to ambient temperature on every opening. Three independent doors mean each access event exposes only four positions — the three closed bays stay sealed and temperature-stable. Across 15–20 access events per day, the cumulative thermal difference over a week is significant.

The three-bay design also supports clean workflow zoning: bay one for intake, bay two for cases pending preparation, bay three for releases pending family pickup — physical separation that supports chain-of-custody without extra units or procedural tracking.

Split Remote Refrigeration & 208-230V — Installation Required

The standard remote 2-piece (split) refrigeration locates the condenser away from the storage bay. Three planning consequences:

• Heat removed from the prep room — the condenser moves thermal load to a mechanical room, exterior wall, or remote location.
• Compressor noise reduced — the loudest components are remotely located, keeping the storage area quieter.
• Line set path planning required — a licensed HVAC/refrigeration tech runs refrigerant line sets from the unit to the condenser; plan and clear this path before delivery.

The unit requires 208-230V electrical service (not compatible with 110V) and a licensed electrician for hard-wired connections and local code compliance. Electrical and line-set readiness are the most common pre-delivery items on industrial-scale units.

Mortuary Lift Planning — Required for Upper-Tier Access

A 4-tier rack places the upper two tiers where manual loading is unsafe without a mechanical assist. For all high-density uprights with 3+ tiers, a mortuary lift is a workflow safety requirement, not an option.
