Custom & Built-to-Order Equipment Policy

Effective May 1, 2026 • Custom walk-ins, non-standard dimensions, special configurations & modified builds.

1. What Counts as Custom

"Custom" or "built-to-order" equipment includes any unit manufactured to non-catalog dimensions, capacities, or configurations; custom walk-in cooler and freezer systems; special panel layouts, door placements, or finishes; modified racking, rail, or shelving arrangements; and any product built or altered to buyer-supplied specifications. AMC manufactures custom-dimension systems for facilities with non-standard floor plans — this policy governs every such build.

PATHOLOGY EQUIPMENT — ESTIMATED 10–12 WEEK PRODUCTION LEAD TIME

For sink stations, dissection tables, immersion tables, autopsy equipment, grossing stations, laboratory and pathology coolers, and other configured pathology equipment, the current estimated production lead time is 10–12 weeks after written order acceptance and receipt of required specifications, approvals, and payment. Freight transit time is additional. This timeframe is an estimate, not a guaranteed ship or delivery date, and may change with configuration, materials, supplier schedules, and production capacity.

If timing is material to your purchase, email cool@mymortuarycooler.com before ordering to request a written, product-specific estimate. An exact or guaranteed date applies only if expressly stated in a separate written agreement signed by an authorized officer of American Mortuary Coolers. Written approval only: An order change or cancellation is effective only if American Mortuary Coolers confirms it in writing. If AMC agrees in writing to accept a cancellation, a 35% cancellation charge may apply to the total order, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
