The 2B-F is an American Mortuary Coolers mortuary freezer configuration for funeral homes, morgues and anatomy facilities. This standard-width upright model provides 2 body positions with heated doors.

Choosing a mortuary freezer for your facility

Start with the number of positions and the way staff will load the cabinet. An upright freezer uses a vertical arrangement; the TR3 freezer uses three side-by-side cot positions. Position count alone does not establish usable width, cot compatibility or a safe working load. Have AMC confirm those details for the exact configuration and handling equipment in your facility.

For an oversized or bariatric body freezer, confirm the usable loading envelope and transfer arrangement rather than relying on the model label. Provide the tray, cot or handling-equipment details with your inquiry so the quotation can identify the requested configuration without assuming interchangeability.

Heated doors and installation planning

Heated doors are included in this freezer configuration. The final quotation must identify the freezer refrigeration package and its electrical requirements. Do not plan installation from a similar-looking cabinet photograph or from the specifications of a cooler.

Measure the receiving route, doorway clearances and intended cabinet position. Include access restrictions, the receiving location and your preferred assembled or unassembled shipment option where offered. If casters are selected, review the final configured height and movement arrangement before order approval.

Freezer specification and site review

Request a model-specific quotation covering the freezer temperature requirement, electrical service, refrigeration package, access route and final configured dimensions. Operating temperature, voltage, compressor selection and certifications are not inferred from the base cabinet model. Confirm any project-specific documentation requirements with AMC before committing to the installation.
