AME storage & handling

Mortuary Cooler Racks

Choose a mortuary cooler rack around the storage positions, loading direction and tray sizes your room actually needs. Compare two-body gateway racks with taller roller racks and configured institutional storage systems.

Standard two-body end-loading rack from $969.21 USD. Rack only; cooler and lift are not included. Side loading is a separate configuration.

Cooler rack options from two-body storage upward

Each product has its own direct URL, native options and current starting price. Check the selected configuration for tier ratings, dimensions, included components and country-of-origin information.

For a different storage design, compare the two-tier cantilever rack. Its price and support arrangement should not be confused with the standard two-body roller rack.

Fit the rack to the cooler, not just the body count

Two, three, four or five tiers?

Compare normal storage occupancy with surge needs, then check which positions your handling equipment can reach. Taller racks add vertical positions, but each tier still needs a supported transfer route and enough clearance for the intended tray and load.

Record each rolling-surface height, not only the rail height. A lift's bare-deck range is not the same as the top of its rollers or ball transfers, and scale options can change usable height.

Side, end or multi-directional loading?

End loading approaches the short end of the storage position; side loading needs a suitable long-side approach. Multi-directional roller arrangements offer another loading option, but the selected tray, guide arrangement and transfer procedure must still be confirmed.

Measure clear interior room dimensions, door swing, approach aisle, tray projection, refrigeration obstructions and the receiving route. Confirm the complete layout before ordering.

Material, mobility and working load

Compare the specified construction material and cleaning instructions for the selected rack. Stainless steel does not remove the need for proper cleaning and maintenance. Confirm caster and brake requirements and whether the model permits the intended loaded movement.

Use the model's per-tier and total ratings, including the weight of any supported accessories. Do not apply one rack's rating to another model or infer bariatric suitability from tier count.

U.S.-made and custom rack options

Selected native rack listings identify U.S.-made construction. Confirm origin for the exact model, rather than assuming every tray, caster or purchased accessory shares the same origin.

For institutional layouts, compare USPE side-load cadaver racks and USPE end-load cadaver racks. Configured USPE equipment remains quote-only.

Connect the rack to trays, lifts and replacement parts

Compare body trays and storage boards, manual and powered scissor lifts, and AMC morgue coolers as separate equipment choices. HD plastic storage boards are supported-storage barriers, not lifting, carrying or transfer supports.

For replacement rollers, casters, straps or other parts, provide the rack model, part dimensions and photographs through the equipment quote request. Confirm fit and current dispatch timing for the exact part; a generic accessory listing does not prove compatibility or stock.

High-volume projects can include multiple racks, room dimensions, tray counts, receiving requirements and the destination ZIP code in one request. Ask for itemized equipment, accessories and freight so the rack-only price stays distinct from the complete project.

Mortuary rack questions

What does the two-body gateway price include?

The starting price shown is for the standard two-tier end-loading rack configuration. It is rack only, not a refrigerated cooler or a lift. Check the native variant for included components and the separate side-loading price.

Are morgue racks the same as morgue coolers?

No. A rack provides the specified storage support; a cooler provides refrigerated storage. A combined project needs a confirmed rack layout, trays, handling equipment and a suitable AMC cooler configuration.

Can I use a standard rack in a morgue freezer?

Do not assume cooler and freezer service are interchangeable. Confirm the rack's intended service conditions, materials, rollers, casters and maintenance requirements for the selected freezer application.

Are parts and accessories in stock?

Request current availability for the exact part and quantity. Provide the model and dimensions for a fit check; dispatch and freight depend on the selected items and destination.

Where can I find funeral equipment for sale?

Browse the native rack, lift, cot, church-truck and AMC cooler pages linked here for priced configurations. Use the quote request for facility planning, high-volume orders, export destinations and configured USPE equipment.

Prices shown are catalog starting prices checked October 28, 2026. The linked product page and selected configuration govern the current price; freight, taxes and optional scope are separate.
