What Our Origin Claims Mean

American Mortuary Coolers designs, fabricates, and assembles its cooler panels, cabinets, doors, racking, and stainless equipment at our facility in Johnson City, Tennessee. Consistent with the FTC’s Made in USA standard (“all or virtually all” U.S. content for unqualified claims), we apply origin statements as follows:

“Made in USA” (unqualified) is used only for products that are all or virtually all made in the United States — for example, our fabricated panels, racking systems, trays, and stainless weldments produced in Tennessee.

“Built in the USA with domestic and imported components” (qualified) applies to finished cooler and freezer systems that incorporate purchased components — such as compressors, refrigeration units (Heatcraft, Bohn, Turbo Air), controllers, hinges, or electrical parts — that may be manufactured abroad or contain imported content. The structure and assembly are American; specific components may not be.

Dealer products: packaged and split refrigeration systems manufactured by Heatcraft Refrigeration Products LLC, Turbo Air, and other OEMs are sold by AMC as an authorized dealer; their country of origin is as marked by the manufacturer.
