A mortuary cot is a wheeled, height-adjustable first call cot that loads into a removal vehicle. A stretcher can mean a cot or a folding or basket stretcher. Trolleys and cadaver carriers are stainless carts that move remains inside a morgue, hospital or funeral home.
Which cot fits my removal vehicle?
Measure your deck height. The 500E and PRO S 650 have a 24 to 24.5 in maximum loading height; the 500T is built for a 32 in deck. Oversized cots need a wider bay, such as the side-by-side cot deck system.
