§2 Billing Term & Amount

The subscription term, renewal frequency, and price are shown at checkout and in your order confirmation. Renewal charges are billed at the start of each new term to the payment method on file. Applicable taxes are added where required (see Sales & Use Tax Policy).

§3 How to Cancel — Easy, Same-Medium Cancellation

You may cancel at any time, at no charge, using the same medium you used to subscribe or any of the following: (a) online — through your HALO account page or by using the cancellation link included in every renewal reminder and billing email; (b) email — cool@mymortuarycooler.com with the subject “Cancel HALO”; or (c) phone — 1-888-792-9315 during business hours, or by voicemail at that number, and voicemail cancellation requests are processed within one (1) business day. Cancellation requires no more steps than sign-up. If we present a discount, pause, or other retention (“save”) offer when you cancel, a prominent option to complete your cancellation immediately, without accepting the offer, will always be displayed alongside it. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid term; to avoid the next charge, cancel before your renewal date. We will confirm every cancellation in writing (email).

§4 Renewal Reminders

We send a renewal reminder before each annual renewal and at least annually for subscriptions of any term length, to the email on file, identifying the product, the renewal date, the amount to be charged, and how to cancel — delivered 15–45 days before the applicable renewal. We also provide advance written notice of any material change in price or terms before it takes effect. It is your responsibility to keep your contact and payment information current.

§5 Price Changes

We may change subscription pricing for future terms. Any change applies only to renewals occurring after advance notice is provided under §4; your continued subscription after the effective date constitutes acceptance, and you may cancel at any time before the renewal under §3.

§6 No Refunds on Partial Terms; Service Governed by Disclaimer

Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable for partial terms. The monitoring service itself is governed by the HALO Service & Liability Disclaimer (HL-1.0). A billing dispute must be raised with AMC first and is subject to the chargeback terms in the Terms of Purchase §5.

§7 Governing Law & Venue

Governed by the laws of Tennessee; venue Washington County, Tennessee — including its General Sessions Court — regardless of Customer’s location (Terms §6). Where the automatic-renewal law of your state of residence grants additional non-waivable rights (including under the California Automatic Renewal Law and the automatic-renewal statutes of Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, and other states), those rights are honored.
