ACCEPTANCE

This policy is part of and incorporated into the Terms of Purchase (TC-1.6), including §13A (Performance & Lead-Time Disclaimer). By placing an order, you ("Customer") agree to these terms.

§1 — LEAD TIMES ARE ESTIMATES; NO GUARANTEED DELIVERY DATE

All production, build, and delivery lead times quoted by AMC — whether on the website, in a quote, or by a representative — are good-faith estimates provided to the best of our ability, not guarantees. AMC does not guarantee an exact delivery date under any circumstances. Actual timing varies with product, configuration, material and component availability, manufacturer schedules, freight and carrier conditions, and order volume. An estimated lead time is not a promise of a specific delivery date and may change after an order is placed, and is not a binding deadline unless expressly agreed to in a separate document signed by an authorized officer of AMC.

§2 Delays Are Not Grounds for Cancellation, Chargeback, or a Business-Loss Claim

A delay in an estimated lead time is not a basis to cancel a non-cancellable order, withhold payment, or initiate a chargeback (Terms §5, §13 Force Majeure, §13A Performance & Lead-Time Disclaimer). To the fullest extent permitted by law, AMC is not liable for lost business, lost calls, lost case volume, lost revenue, or any other indirect or consequential damages arising from a delay in production, shipping, or delivery, regardless of the cause of the delay, including where AMC's own production or scheduling is the cause. We recommend Customers not schedule installation, removal of existing equipment, or remove a unit from service until delivery of the new unit is confirmed. AMC is not liable for costs arising from reliance on an estimated date, including installer, labor, or downtime costs.

§3 — EXPEDITED & RUSH SERVICE AVAILABLE FOR AN ADDITIONAL COST

In some cases, expedited production or expedited shipping is available with prior written authorization from AMC and payment of applicable expedited fees. Rush service is not guaranteed and depends on product, materials, manufacturer capacity, and carrier availability. To request expedited handling, contact AMC at 1-888-792-9315 before placing or finalizing your order so we can confirm feasibility and quote the expedited fee. Expedited fees are earned when the expedited service is arranged and are non-refundable even if the estimated timeline is affected by events outside AMC's control.

§4 Communication of Changes

If a lead time changes materially, AMC will make reasonable efforts to notify Customer. Freight-charge changes between order and shipment are handled under the Estimated Shipping Charges Policy (SC-1.0).

§5 Governing Law & Venue

Governed by the laws of Tennessee; venue Washington County, Tennessee — including its General Sessions Court — regardless of Customer's location (Terms §6).

Panel material — Class 1 polyurethane foam

Walk-in cooler panels and upright cooler cabinet skins are constructed of Class 1 polyurethane foam insulation, injected under pressure into formed molds during manufacturing. Residual foam flash, minor surface variation, or trace foam residue on panel edges and surfaces is a normal characteristic of this manufacturing process — not a defect. Foam residue does not merit discounting, return, refund, or credit of any kind.

Inspect before you sign — 30-minute inspection window

You have up to 30 minutes from carrier arrival to thoroughly inspect every panel, crate, unit, and box before signing any delivery receipt or Bill of Lading. Check all surfaces, edges, corners, and refrigeration components while the driver is present. This is your only opportunity to document concerns with the carrier present. Acceptance at delivery is the single most critical step in the delivery process.

By signing the delivery receipt or Bill of Lading — or by accepting delivery in any form — you: (1) accept the shipment in the condition noted on the signed paperwork; (2) release the carrier and American Mortuary Coolers from all liability for any condition, damage, or deficiency that could have been identified during your inspection window; and (3) enter into a binding agreement that goods were received as stated on the signed documentation. Your signature on any shipping paperwork constitutes acceptance of these terms. There are no exceptions once paperwork is signed.
